Tuesday, October 8th

On Tuesday, we had special visitors from out of town.  My grandma's good friends, Becky and Wolf, were driving from Alabama to Florida and stopped in for lunch and stayed to chat for a few hours before needing to head down the road.  Becky is not only a dear friend of gram's, but they are also related - something like 4th cousins, I think.  To any extent, it was a great time catching up and the kids behaved really well.  Waverly was quite taken with Wolf, who has a distinctly German accent and is probably about 6' 6".  He held her for a little while, then she went to Becky where she could better study this interesting fellow :-)
